Good week

Good week? Great week! Two meals with my brother’s delicious homemade tomato sauce. (I added the freshly grated Asiago cheese.) I found myself going “yyuummmm….” with several mouthfuls.

One day walked over 17,400 steps. You can be sure I slept well that night.

Taught my first solo library instruction class at the Academy. Successfully.

Tried a small Lebanese restaurant here in Annapolis. Inexpensive and pretty tasty. Will go again.

Organized papers and folders in my cubie.

Learning and remembering the different resources in Nimitz Library.

Enjoyed a lunch hour with a colleague and a visit to a nearby art display (included a Picasso and a Matisse).

Emailed with friends.

Spent last weekend with family and friends. Life is very good.

When I find a food in the grocery store that makes me drool, but I decide I won’t spend that much money because the thought, “When would I ever serve it?” comes up, I have learned to throw caution to the wind! I decide that I will just serve it to me. When I want. Because I’m an adult in America and I can do that.

So today it will be creamy Stilton and crispy apple. Oh my goodness! Is it snack time, yet?
